iPhone 5 Will Support GSM and CDMA Both Modes – Confirmed!
iPhone 5 is reportedly going to be a dual mode phone which means it will support GSM as well as CDMA mode, according to the Verizon CFO. Previously, it was noticed when Verizon iPhone 4 CDMA model was launched in which Qualcomm Gobi cellular chipset was found which was compatible with GSM mode too.

According to the Verizon Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Fran Shammo, has confirmed that the Apple next-generation iPhone dubbed as iPhone 5 is going to be a global phone with this Qualcomm Gobi chip. This means it will allows users to use their device on Verizon as well as at the same time on AT&T or vice-versa, basically it will definitely going in favor of the users not for the carrier networks.
But its obvious that only the time will gonna tell as iPhone 5 releases may taking place somewhere in September where the device is said to have 12.6 or 8 megapixel of camera, dual-core processors same as the iPad 2.
