More Than 2 Million Apple TV 2G Sold Since Its Launch – Report
Apple has launched its second-generation Apple TV last year and it was 1st September, 2010 when it went on sale and now according to the current reports, it already had been sold out more than 2 million.

According to the Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Concord Securities, revealed his survey results that almost 3 million units ( 2m 850k units sold has been recorded uptil now) have been shipped since Apple has launched it to the market last year. Apple TV is available at very cheaper pricing of $99 only and interestingly 250,000 units were sold in the starting six weeks of its launch and goes to 1 million hits before the Christmas 2010.
Also, there are rumors that Apple may planning to open up its AirPlay feature to third-party which will enable iOS users such as iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad to stream and play videos, movies directly on a big screen TV sets from their iOS devices which neglects the Apple TV requirement.
