Access Google Search On iPhone From Anywhere[QuickGoogle Jailbreak]
Google is the most big company now a days and we all love the way they deal us in all asepctes and as they are the most currical company all around the world
We also love our iPhones, and as such wish there was a Google search widget for quick and easy searching without either launching the Google app, Safari, or even using Spotlight. We want a nice and easy way to Google for a text string from wherever we are in the interface. As with so many things these days, the jailbreak community has come to our rescue, with QuickGoogle.
Once installed, QuickGoogle allows jailbroken iOS devices to launch a simple Google search no matter where they are inside the OS – be it the home screen or in an app.
Currently, the quickest way to place a Google search is the keep the Google app on your home screen and launch that in order to enter your query. Unfortunately though, that’s not entirely ideal for many of us with so many apps and also has the added disadvantage of not being accessible from anywhere on your iPhone.
The magic works thanks to Activator, meaning a simple gesture can bring up a QuickGoogle search box. Enter your search string and hit the ‘Google’ button and you’re off.
It doesn’t get much more simple than that.
Obviously you’ll need to be using a jailbroken iOS device to install QuickGoogle via the jailbreak app store, Cydia.
If you’re not already jailbroken you can follow our quick and easy guide to jailbreaking iOS 4.3.3 (untethered) using Redsn0w here. Running iOS 5? No problem! If you’re already running iOS 5, you can apply a tethered jailbreak via Redsn0w, as explained here, or by using Sn0wbreeze.
