Ac1dRa1n A New Tethered Tool to Jailbreak iOS 4.3 by PwnDevTeam
Ac1dRa1n is a new jailbreaking tool that will reportedly jailbreak iOS 4.3 tethered-only. The tool is developed by PwnDevTeam which has no connection with iPhone Dev-Team or Chronic Dev Team. The current members of PwnDevTeam are @Gr0undbreak1ng, @P01sonN1nja, @IP4pwn, @iJailSnowBreak, @SwampFox56. The tool is similar to GreenPois0n, that means one click only, interestingly the team have used a bit of GreenPois0n source code to execute their RAM-DISKS.
If you have seen the above image you might have noticed an option of Qu1ckBo0t, this option will allow you to boot your device in tethered mode with just one click. Unlike other jailbreaking tools, Ac1dRa1n will be releasing for both Windows and Mac OS X.
Unfortunately, the tool will not be able to jailbreak the iPad 2 as the team said that the exploit they have was not able to jailbreak iPad 2. The tool is still a rumor and not confirmed by anyone, you never know if the team is fake or if they really can do something magical!
